How DrivenSellers researches its comparisons
DrivenSellers writes every comparison on this site, including the ones where we compare ourselves with competitors. We use each provider's own public pages, date every check, say plainly when a term is unknown, and recommend DrivenSellers only for a buying job we state up front.
Who publishes these comparisons?
DrivenSellers does. These pages are our content, not independent reviews, and no outside company has rated us. That is a conflict of interest, and we say so on every comparison.
We do not publish star ratings or numeric scores. A score would hide the trade-offs, and we have no outcome data that would make one meaningful. Each provider is matched to the buying job its own terms support.
What do we recommend ourselves for?
One buying job: choosing individual exclusive seller leads from the card, at a listed grade price, without paying for a plan. We state that fit before we make any recommendation.
For other jobs we say a competitor may suit you better, and why. Examples from our own pages:
- If you want a long request window, some providers state more than our 5 days.
- If you want leads assigned automatically in a territory, territory programs are built for that.
- If you buy many exclusive leads every month, a paid club price elsewhere can cost less than our A and A+ prices.
Where do the facts come from?
From the providers' own public pages: pricing pages, FAQs, refund policies and terms. We link the pages we read. Our own facts come from our pricing page, refund policy and terms.
- Competitor facts: each provider's own pages. We link them at the end of every comparison.
- DrivenSellers facts: the same settings the app uses, so a price or a window is written once and every page that quotes it changes together.
- Not used as fact: third-party ranking articles, including rankings that providers publish about themselves, review sites and forum posts.
Every comparison shows the date its competitor terms were last checked. Numbers we make up to show arithmetic are always called an example and are never a customer result.
How do we choose what to compare?
Providers sell different things under the same word, so before we compare a price we match four things: the lead type, the buying mode, the commitment to start and the remedy.
- Lead type. Exclusive with exclusive. A lead shared with five buyers is not compared on price with one sold once.
- Buying mode. A listed price, a member price and a minimum bid are labelled as what they are.
- Commitment. Subscriptions, deposits and refills are shown beside the price, not in a footnote.
- Remedy. Request windows are shown with their reasons and evidence rules, and whether the remedy is cash or credit.
What do we do when a term is unknown or two pages disagree?
We write that the term is not stated, or we leave the figure out. We do not assume the best or the worst, and we do not quote a number a provider's own pages state two ways.
- Unknown is not missing. If a page does not state something, we say so.
- Conflicting figures are not quoted. When a provider's pages disagree with each other, we leave the number out.
- Vendor counts are not repeated. Member counts and lead volumes that differ across a company's own pages are left out.
- Pages that block automated reading are read in a normal browser session.
How often are pages checked?
Before they are published and whenever a provider changes its terms. We change a page's date only when its content changed in a meaningful way.
Providers change prices and rules without notice. Treat every comparison as a starting point and read the provider's own page before you pay.
How do I report a mistake?
Write to us through the contact page. Name the page and the line, and link the source that shows the correct fact. Competitors are welcome to do the same.
When we correct a material error, we fix it in the shared record, so every page that uses it changes, and we note the correction on the page. Start at the contact page.
Common questions
Are these comparisons independent?
No. DrivenSellers publishes them, and we compare ourselves with competitors. We say so on every comparison and state the one job we recommend ourselves for.
Do you rank providers?
No. We do not publish scores, stars or a single ranking. We match each provider to the buying job its terms support.
Where do competitor details come from?
From each provider's own public pages, which we link at the end of the comparison, with the date we last checked them.
What if a competitor's terms changed?
Tell us through the contact page with a link to the page that shows the change. We update the shared record and every page that uses it.
