DrivenSellers vs Property Leads: pick each lead, or bid for a territory
Choose DrivenSellers to read each card and buy single exclusive leads at a listed price, with nothing to deposit. Choose Property Leads for hands-off territory supply, a 7-day request window, and if a $1,500 starting deposit suits you. The real difference is who decides on each lead.
Which three questions settle it?
Do you want to read each lead before you pay, can you put down a deposit you cannot get back, and do you need more than five days to judge a lead? Your answers point to one model.
- Do you want to read each lead before you pay? If yes, Property Leads cannot do that: its leads are assigned by bid. Go with DrivenSellers. If reviewing leads is a chore you would rather skip, go to question 2.
- Can you put down $1,500 you cannot get back? If yes, and you will spend it on leads, the territory model fits, especially across broad areas where a $30 national or $75 state minimum bid could suit you. If not, a program without a deposit, or our free start, is the safer test.
- Do you need more than 5 days to judge a lead? Property Leads gives 7 calendar days, with a detailed list of reasons and evidence rules. If you call the same day, 5 days is usually enough.
| Provider | Lead type | Who picks the lead | Price | To start | Who else can get it | Request window and remedy |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| DrivenSellers | Exclusive seller lead: a homeowner who wants to sell for a cash offer | You. Read the card, then buy the lead you want | Listed price by grade: $99 (C), $169 (B), $249 (A), $349 (A+). The same for every buyer | Nothing. A free account needs no card. Optional plans (Starter $99, Growth $299, Scale $999 a month) are added to your wallet | Sold once, to one buyer, through DrivenSellers | 5 days from purchase, one request per lead. Approved requests go back to your wallet as credit |
| Property Leads | Seller form submissions delivered inside a territory you choose | No. Leads go automatically to the highest eligible bidder; you do not see a lead before it is assigned | Your bid. Minimum bids: $30 national, $75 state, $75 metro county, $125 county | A one-time, non-refundable $1,500 starting deposit applied to lead costs, plus automatic card refills | One form submission is not sold to a second investor. Separate submissions by the same seller may go to different clients | 7 calendar days from receipt, for listed reasons with evidence. Approved requests are credited to your account balance |
Both rows describe seller inquiries. The buying model differs: DrivenSellers buyers choose each lead; Property Leads assigns leads by bid inside a territory. Competitor terms are read from each provider's own pages and were last checked on October 16, 2026.
What is the difference between inspect-then-buy and bid-then-receive?
On DrivenSellers you decide on every lead, after you read its card. On Property Leads you set bids and budgets once, and leads are assigned to you automatically.
DrivenSellers, inspect then select:
- Make a free account. No card is needed.
- Set a buy box for grade, counties and the most you will pay.
- Read the card: the grade, price, area, why they sell, how soon, occupancy, repairs, listing status and equity.
- Buy the lead at its listed price from your wallet. It leaves the feed.
- Work it in MyCRM. Report it within 5 days if it is not as described.
Property Leads, bid then receive:
- Open an account and pay the $1,500 starting deposit, which becomes lead balance.
- Choose territories (national, state, metro county or county), set a bid for each and a monthly budget.
- Leads go to the highest eligible bidder. There is no live bidding, and you do not see a lead before it is assigned.
- When your balance drops low, your card is recharged automatically.
- Request a refund within 7 calendar days, with evidence, for listed reasons.
We ask you to decide on every lead. Property Leads decides for you once your bids are set.
Is a listed price the same as a minimum bid?
No. Our grade prices are the price: $99 to $349, the same for every buyer, shown before you buy. Property Leads publishes minimum bids, and your cost per lead is whatever you bid.
Its minimums are $30 national, $75 state, $75 metro county and $125 county. A minimum bid may not win leads in a busy territory, so a $30 floor and a $99 listed price do not measure the same thing.
How much cash do I need to start?
On DrivenSellers, nothing. On Property Leads, a one-time, non-refundable $1,500 deposit that is applied to your lead costs as leads are delivered.
| DrivenSellers | Property Leads | |
|---|---|---|
| To open an account | $0, no card | $1,500 one-time deposit |
| Is the starting money refundable? | Nothing is paid to start | No; its FAQ calls it non-refundable |
| What it buys | Nothing until you pick a lead | Applied to lead costs as they are delivered |
| Ongoing funding | You add funds when you buy | Automatic card refills |
Its homepage also says "$0 fees" and "no contracts". Both can be true: the deposit is prepaid lead balance, not a fee. But it is cash you cannot get back, so count it in a first-month budget.

What does exclusive mean at each?
At DrivenSellers it means one buyer per lead through our platform. At Property Leads it means one form submission is not sold twice, so separate submissions by the same seller may reach different clients.
Neither company can stop an owner from talking to other buyers, and Property Leads says it cannot control submissions made outside its network. The difference is narrow: on Property Leads, if the same seller fills in two forms on different sites in its network, those may count as two leads and go to two clients.
Request windows: 5 days or 7?
Property Leads gives 7 calendar days from receipt and a detailed list of reasons, with evidence rules. We give 5 days from purchase with one test: is the lead as described.
| DrivenSellers | Property Leads | |
|---|---|---|
| Window | 5 days from purchase | 7 calendar days from receipt |
| Grounds | The lead is not as described | Listed reasons, with evidence (up to 5 files) |
| Remedy | Credit to your wallet | Credit to your account balance |
| Notable limits | One request per lead | Declined if the seller wants a cash offer within 6 months; appeals by e-mail within 3 business days; chargebacks prohibited except where required by law |
Two more days and a published list of reasons are a real advantage. Its rules also come with evidence requirements and an exclusion for a seller who wants a cash offer within six months. Read both policies in full before you buy: our refund policy and its refund policy.
Whichever you choose, judge it on cost per signed contract over a fair test, not on price per lead. Use the cost per contract calculator. Weighing other options? See the Property Leads alternatives.
